Just when you're on top of the world, you fall of...hard. I was so exited I could host my site on my computer, but then MSN's firewall cuts me short. I now have pop-up ads, pop-under ads, and I have to upload everything. Oh well, that's just my luck.
On a good note, I went serching on the internet to find some PhotoShop tutorials, and learned how to make the banner you see above. I think it's a whole lot better then that old one. It didn't fit.

When you load the page, do you have to close a pop-up ad? Search for a pop-under ad? Scroll past banner ads? NO! DDR Tacoma is how hosted on the best server you could want...my home PC. If you have a broadband connection (DSL, Cable, ect.) and want to host your own website, then look no further then Analog X's software page, and click network. It's called SimpleServer:WWW and it rocks!
I'm gonna get rid of the mouse-over graphics for the menu buttons. I tested it on other computers, and I guess that it downloads the 2nd image each time you mouse over it. That's not cool, because it takes a long time and it sucks bandwidth. That's gonna take a while.
Now that I don't have to upload every file, I now have all my DDR MP3s able for download.

I got on the list for DDR Konamix today! YES! See the last update for a small review.
I'm borrowing the US Playstation version of DDR and 4 dance pads (2 are broke, and I'm gonna see if I can get them working again), and I get them 'till wednsday. I live in a 2ns story apartment, so I don't get to use the pad. The controller isn't that bad to play with, either. At Rachelle's house (It's her DDR stuff), I figured out a way to keep soft mats fro slipping. Just take some duct tape and put it accrost the corners of the pad. You'd be supprised how much that helps. Your score'll even go up because of it!
I added more MP3s of DDR, and now they all work. I have songs from 2nd-5th mix up, so check it out.

Well, I spent time better used elsewhere on the menu. Now when you mouse over it, something cool happens. Try it!
I can't upload all the DDR MP3s to my Tripod account, so you'll have to wait till I get place to store them. I have 26 (and counting), most from DDR 4th Mix Plus, and I should have them all up by this weekend.
Okay, now for the DDR news. Konami is releasing a new version of DDR for US Playstations! It's called DDR Konamix and has a total of 52 songs. 32 at start, and you play through the game to get the extra songs. 2 of the songs have never been released EVER. The game's layout is that of DDR 3rd or 4th Mix, even if 5th Mix is the best by far. How does this benefit you? Well, the game will be avalible at most game stores, for only $29.99. Unheard of for most new games. It will be out April 26, 2002, and I'm getting it the day it comes out. I'm even paying $10 to get on a reserve list to guarantee me a copy! I might even get a dance pad too! I'm so exited!

If you don't notice anything diffrent, then either you've never been here before or you're blind. The links are graphical, rather then just text, color scheme has changed, and I added a cool banner I made. All in all I think I did pritty good for just a few hours. There's a tournament on May 18th. Check 'Tournies' for more info. I uploaded a few MP3s of diffrent mix's of DDR. I'll be adding more as I get them. Not a whole lot now, but I have a fondness for the songs on now. The server is being retarded (or I need to reset my DSL modem), so this update might be a day late.

I went to Wal-Mart Saturday for the soul purpose of playing DDR Solo 2000. I've never played it before, and I thought it would be cool. I was wrong. It's song selection was low, even though there were some songs that had alot of bass. The pad was too close to the screen, the pad was loud, the screen itself was small hand had these video things olong the side. This looks more like a DDR game made by a diffrent company, like nintendo. There's a picture of it in the 'Pictures' page. I think I'll just stick to DDR 5th Mix.

Sorry I haven't been updating the page. I was busy with other matters. I did update the 'Pictures' page and the 'Me and Jeff' page, though. I get my DSL tomarrow, so I'll start working on the downloads page, which is going to me mostly DDR simulation files. D-D-E.net isn't serving the files any more, and there are very few places to get them. Therefore, I am going to have Delight Delight Reduplication files (BMI) as well as Dance With Intensity files (DWI).

I went to the arcade today to get some pictures, but only 2 guy was playing, so I got a picture of him and a picture of the DDR machine. I'm having what I guess you could call a "contest" for my site banner. For more info, check out the pictures page.

The site was down and being gay, thanks to Tripod, but now it's up again. I got Adobe Photoshop 6.0 today, so I should have the banner up today, as well as the Flash music thingy. Got more pages up, but there are still a few that arn't up yet. 'Downloads may take a little while to get up, because I won't get my DSL line for another 1 1/2 weeks. I'm at lunch now, so I'll see if I can't get the message board up.

I finally got the page looking good, and it's all text so far, so for those of you on a bad connection, you're in luck. Tomarrow (or later today, whenever I decide to do it), I'm going to add some flash to the site, to make it look all cool...well, kinda. It won't be that big, just a little something in the corner to listen to music with. I need to get to finishing all the pages, so I'll update tomarrow.

Well, I finally did it. I got the basic layout for the updates I wanted, but I still have to either do the frames myself, or get Julie to do a sasic template for me to work off of. She's alot better at HTML then I am. This weekend, if Jeff comes over, we'll probably go to the arcade to play a few games of DDR and hopefully get some pictures. Once I get home (I'm in 3rd period now), I'm gonna work on getting the other stuff for the site done, like the banner, the Flash radio, ect., and ask Julie if she'll help.
